Paul grew up in northern Iowa and moved to Colorado in 2014, which is when he met his wife, Emily. They lived in downtown Golden for a while, where he worked at the highly-rated Sassafras restaurant while Emily worked at Starbucks, a job she maintained for years. When he began his work as a contractor, Paul spent his time and efforts saving up to buy his own tools, equipment, and utility truck until he was able to start his own business. The Galligans just bought their first home near Lakewood and enjoy life with their dogs Omar and Remi, a 4-year-old Australian shepherd and a 1-year-old golden mountain dog. In their free time, they love to visit national parks, as well as their family in Iowa, Oklahoma, and Illinois. Seeing their nieces and nephews is often the highlight of their travels. When they aren’t visiting family, you can find Paul and Emily on the water, whether they are wakeboarding, paddle boarding, or tubing. And in the winter, you can find them on the slopes or even ice skating!
